How does the flower decoration stay fresh and beautiful for a long time?

Of course, the most beautiful vase is of no use if the bouquet is wilted after two days. So what do you have to do to keep the flower decoration fresh for as long as possible? First of all, it is important that the vase is clean and there is no residue or debris from the last flowers in it. You should also thoroughly remove any washing-up liquid or detergent after cleaning. Then you should fill the vase only halfway with water, so that the leaves of the flowers are not in the water. The flower water should be changed every two to three days. For fresh tulips in a vase, you should never change the water completely, but only fill it up. Fresh water acts as a boost of energy for the tulips, which makes them gain height even while still in the vase. They bloom more vigorously and thus also fade faster. If the water is only topped up - to about three finger widths below the rim of the vase - the nutrient content of the water remains constant. This way you can enjoy the beautiful tulips longer. 

If you use transparent glass vases, it is important to remove limescale and deposits regularly. Because even the smallest residue of dirt can negatively affect the water quality.
